Danny Strauss got a perfect score on the SAT in 2000 and founded A Perfect Score, Inc, in 2002. He has been prepping students for standardized tests for over 20 years with great success. Over that period of time, he has investigated the nature of test-taking, academic preparation, test-taking techniques, positive and negative mindsets and performance.

He has tutored students from the nation’s finest private and public schools, and has helped them get into many of the nation’s top universities, including MIT, Harvey Mudd, Harvard, Stanford, Georgetown, Wharton, Princeton, Brown, Columbia, Duke, Tufts, USC, UCLA, UC Berkeley, the Naval Academy, NYU and many more.

But he has also helped students with more modest goals, and loves helping them achieve the highest scores they can.

He has written five SAT MATH workbooks which are currently only made available to our students. In addition to creating curricula for A Perfect Score, he preps students around the country for tests including the ISEE, SAT, ACT, GRE and LSAT.

He grew up in Los Angeles, before receiving a bachelors degree from Tufts University and a masters degree from Columbia University.

Danny works Monday through Friday from his dedicated home-office in west Los Angeles (pictured above) and online, with students from around the world.
